Dr. Purkayastha is considered as an expert in NanoScience and Nanotechnology. He has wide teaching and research experience across academic and corporate. Before joining Learnstitute he served in Laird technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd. , Applied Materials, Ester Industries Ltd etc in various senior position. His work got published in various international journal of repute.

He is the founding director for LEARNSTITUTE. Apart from the teaching he will be looking after strategic marketing role for LEARNSTITUTE.

He is also cofounder of ULTRANANOTECH PVT. LTD, A Nanotechnology based company based in Bangalore, India.
